THE DARKWOODS BLIND WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED FOR MY OWN PERSONAL
USE. This idea was due to years of aggravation and frustration that we have all
encountered in pursuit of what we love. From unexpected weather changes,
wild fires, changing food and water sources to hunting pressures, I needed a
solid HUNTING BLIND that I could move at any time.

For years, our permanent solid Wood Box Blinds worked just fine, other than
continually repairing and replacing damages due to aging, insects, rodents and
the elements of the weather, we were happy with them. It just seems like the
Big Bucks always know when I'm inside waiting. Every time we decided to move
one of our Deer Stands it would require several of us to move it, find the best
overall location, and several hours of repair work again. Along comes the new
season, full of anticipation and promise, only to realize the deer are onto us, or
the food source has changed, or another hunter has taken position just on the
other side of the fence line once again. DAMN….. Now were stuck with a Box
Blind that's in a bad location. Unfortunately, I just can't move the box blind
(again) without attracting attention to every animal in the woods.

Over the years to change things up a bit, so I wasn’t stuck in a bad location
again, I’ve used the Pop-up/tent style Blinds you see everywhere. From the
low-end price to the high-end models, and they all work good when the
weather cooperates. BUT… I can tell you this, when the sun beats down, the
wind picks up, the rain starts pouring, the snow starts falling or the sub
freezing temps come in well…. Lets just say I’ve wasted a lot of money in the
dark, looking for tent stakes, missing rods and where did I put my extra rope?

So after decades of Box Blinds, Pop-up/tent style Blinds and Tree Stands, I
came up with THE DARKWOODS BLIND a combination of all. The comfort and
security of a Box Blind, the portability of a Pop-up/tent style Blind and the
freedom of a Tree Stand.

How many times I wish I had moved just a little beyond that tree line, set up
just a little closer to the food plot, moved to the other side of the draw when I
Had the chance. Because I know that’s where he’s hiding! Right where I’m
not! Well now, that can all change, never second-guess yourself again,
WHEN IN DOUBT….. MOVE!

Hey guys,
These Mobile Hunting Blinds are made for the Serious Hunters. I Built this Blind
for my own personal use. Everything that I've done to these Blinds has been
designed for the utmost type of Quality I could think of! Our Hunting Blinds are
all Custom Built right here in Oklahoma City.

These Hard Sided Mobile Ground Blinds are made to last for many years. I didn't
want to cut corners and lessen the quality of our Blinds to sell more units.
From the RealtreeTM Camo Brand fabrics to even the small non-breakable plastic cup
holders, I only wanted the best products in our Blinds. I've tried to keep the
Quality at the highest level that I could, and still be affordable.

As with other Hunting products I've bought over the years, nothing aggravates me
more than breaking a new piece of equipment and then have to buy it again.
Cheap doesn't always mean better, when you have to buy it again.

Other Hunting Blinds all look the same. You know same colors, same styles etc.

None of our Hunting Blinds are exactly the same.

I don't have the luxury of hunting all the time, between work and the family
I'm often pressed for hunting days. When I do get out of town, I only have
so many days to hunt. The last thing I want is to sit at camp with all my hunting
buddies complaining about the weather.

How many times have you heard this?

"I'm freezing!" or "It's just to damn cold & wet to be out today."
Now when the others are back at camp griping of the cold rainy weather, or the
wind has changed directions and the Blind everyone wants, can't be used because now
it's (up wind) from the feeding area or collapsed over in the wind.

Well, you won't have to listen to that anymore, because now you can move your
Blind down wind by yourself, stay warm, but most of all you can Hunt all day.
That's why we call it "ONE MAN" Hunting Mobility.

Alberta Buck the Darkwoods Blind way...

Everything was shaping up to be a good
hunt. Weather was getting cooler, the
moose rut was beginning to look promising
and the worse thing that could happen did.
After two days of the cold snap, it turned hot.
Temperatures in the 70 degree range
hindered the activity with regards to moose.
A simple switch of focus was due. We would
hunt the cool early mornings for moose and
spend the afternoons sitting at water holes
waiting for whatever may come about. After
a few evenings of seeing deer from out of
bow range, we made another adjustment.
We employed a ground blind... Not just any
Blind, Jim had a Darkwoods Blind that he
used for sample to show consumers and

outfitters next to his shop. Placing the Blind in just the right spot was not a hard decision. Knowing where the deer were moving to
and from in the evenings made placement a no-brainer!

Once in place, I knew that this would be the hot ticket. I had not ever used a solid Blind like this before, but everything in me knew that
scent and movement would not be an issue. I had plenty of room to move with little or no noise. I am about 6 foot tall and like to
stretch a bit when sitting for hours, this Blind allowed for as much stretch as I could ever need. The Realtree Camo Pattern concealed
the Blind perfectly and the deer did not miss a beat. About an hour and a half before dark they began to move and without reservation
walked within 6 to 8 yards of the Darkwoods Blind. I patiently waited and watched as does and yearlings flooded by the newly placed
Blind. As luck would have it, I spotted a nice buck coming into view. Raising my Alpine Silverado bow and readying my release, he did
not miss a beat either. Walking by the Blind at a mere 6 yards and turning straight away the brute 5 x 5 was in play and my game was on.
The buck stopped to feed at 26 yards from the tip of my arrow. He was standing in a very sharp quartering away position. My
confidence in my Alpine bow was poised and I knew the shot would be no less than perfect. Coming to full draw, I noticed a nose and
floppy ear of another doe moving by on the same trail only 6 yards away. She stopped long enough for the arrow to pass by her nose
on a track like a heat seeking missile to the buck's open and exposed chest. With a solid thump and a calamity of hooves, I knew that I
had just experienced a handful of firsts. This was my First Alberta harvest, the First time I had used a Darkwoods Blind, and the largest
whitetail I had harvested with a bow and arrow to date. The cool thing about all this is, I know that it will not be the last of any of those
firsts! I will surely hunt from a Darkwoods Blind again.

This picture was taken the next morning because it was to dark when I found him to get decent pictures. I wanted to send you this
photo, to show you how well your Blinds work in the areas where I hunt. (Virginia & Pennsylvania) The Realtree Camo Patterns blend in
so well, the deer and the turkey from last spring never knew that I was there!

He has 9 pts. with a blade on the left, a spread of 16.5" and a beautiful cinnamon color rack. He dressed out at 145 lbs.

I was very comfortable hunting from my Darkwoods Blind.

I shot this buck at 4:35pm on Friday Oct. 17. I saw about
20 deer that day including a Albino 6 point buck and the
buck I was hunting for a 17 pt. I saw this one several
times when I was scouting. He still had some velvet on
him. I again saw this 9 pt. buck earlier in the day about
8:30am but he was to far away.

I was hearing a noise while in your Blind to my right
about 4:30pm and I looked and there he was about
30yrds from the Blind walking broadside. I did not have
a clear shot unless he continued to walk another 10 feet.
He did and he ran out of luck. My arrow struck him
through the heart and he ran another 30 yrds. before
falling. These animals are amazing! I watched him from
the Blind for at least 10 minutes and waited another 30
minutes just in case. It was now dark.

Now, came the fun part! As I was dragging him up the
hill, I looked up with my headlight and that Big Bruiser of
a 17 pt. was standing watching me. Well, thats hunting!
If, it had only been rifle season he would have been
mine earlier in the day.
